The saints come out on top in nine goal thriller and end Celtics unbeaten run.
Park deserved this victory but as always they kept there supporters and management team on the edge. The best two youth teams in the county didn’t disappoint and both teams showed brilliance going forward but questions must be asked of both teams defensively.P…ark had to claw back a two goal deficit after twenty minutes and it was Cian Kennedy leading the fight back firing parks opening goal from the edge of the penalty area and parks Ivan Parker volley from twenty yards leveled the game.Park were now in total control of the game but again conceded on the half time whistle from a Celtic long free launched into the danger area and park failed to deal with it
leaving Celtic the happier at the break.
Park started the second half in top gear and were level within seven minutes when Ryan Downey fired the ball across and again it was the outstanding Ivan Parker firing the Park level again. The Park now took control of the game and it was Ryan Downey (capt) that fired the his team into the lead for the first time in the game and it was Klaudio Dema that gave Park the insurance goal they needed to lead 5 v 3 going into the final couple of minutes and to Celtics credit they never gave up and scored late in injury time.
Best for Park;Gazza Savage Ryan Carroll Jesse Sullivan Cian Kennedy
