We started the game with the game with 10 men due to a lot of injuries and we conceded from a deep cross to the back post a free dynamos player to stab it in on 15 mins. Another mixup between goalkeeper and centre backs left them through and we were 2 nil within 17 mins. We got a player in and we started to control the game with dynamos just happy to kick the ball anywhere , which was the theme from them all game. Half time two down. Game over you would think !!
But this park youth team are resilient to say the least being driven forward by the dynamic Adam o Rourke, on 48 mins he beat two men and drove into the box and the full back brought him down , penalty , up stepped Shane Flaherty to confidently stick the ball away. Game on. We piled on the pressure and in the 70th minute we got our just rewards when Sean Ryan stole in at the back post to tap in a Jesse o Sullivan cross/shot. We continued our pressure and could have and should have won the game but it wasn’t to be, on another day we would have scored 5 or 6 . But great credit to all involved for a great come back. Man of the match was no doubt Adam o Rourke .
