The local derby ended with Dynamos coming out on top by the odd goal after extra-time . A disappointing performance by the lads in a very untidy and scrappy game . We never really settled into playing a passing game and too many players were off form on the night .In truth we conceded too many fouls in the middle of the pitch allowing Dynamos to lump the ball into our box on every occasion .Not for the purist but very effective on the night .
Dynamos went one goal up when a long ball out of defence was latched onto by the Tralee centre forward and he finished with a low strike . We equalised from the penalty spot through Jesse O ‘Sullivan and went ahead with a well taken goal from Adam O ‘Rourke . Despite creating several chances we were never really comfortable and the game was levelled when another punt down field caught out our defence and made it 2-2 .
Dynamos scored early into extra-time and held on for a hard earned victory . Congratulations to our neighbours on their win .
