Even though the score line in the end shows a comfortable win we went in at half time a goal behind .

We started well on top and passed and kept the ball very well . The movement from players was good but the lack of tempo was evident in the final quarter of the pitch in the opening 45 minutes . Jesse Stafford Lacey gave us the lead after 15 minutes with a well hit long range effort which found the bottom corner . This lead didn’t last long as Killorglin got one back when a cross was deflected passed our keeper off the head of one of his team mates .

We should have easily gone ahead again but for some fantastic goalkeeping from the Killorglin custodian who make a number of saves form numerous players . Killorglin then against the run of play took the lead just before half time with some slack defending let them in .

The second have turned into one way traffic as when we came out the tempo was upped and everyone was pushing forward together . With in the first ten minutes of the second have we had moved into a 3-2 lead with a second from Jesse Stafford Lacey and Cian Kennedy . Jesse o Sullivan the made it 4-2 on the our mark when he rounded the keeper and finished into the empty net . James Duggan made it five when he tapped home from a Jesse o Sullivan pass . Fergal Ryan came off the bench and quickly got on the score sheet . Killorglin got one back but Jesse O Sullivan grabbed two more to complete his hat trick and the scoring which see’s us into the next round of the competition .
